Spiral binding is the ideal binding method when your document needs to lie flat open and withstand intensive use. With a durable wire or plastic spiral, pages become easy to flip through and stay in place — perfect for manuals, instruction booklets, presentations and cookbooks.

XL Print offers spiral binding in various sizes to match your document's thickness from a few pages to over 300 pages. We can combine spiral binding with fixed front and back covers in board or plastic for extra durability and a professional look.

Spiral binding is well suited to documents that will be used daily and must hold up to repeated opening and closing. The robust construction ensures your material keeps its shape over time.

Spiral type: Wire spiral (metal) in black, white or silver, or plastic spiral in multiple colours. Spiral diameter from 6 mm to 32 mm depending on page count.

Cover: Transparent front cover in PVC or PP plastic, back cover in black or white board (250-350 g/m²). Printed covers available.

Paper: Contents on 80-170 g/m² paper, coated or uncoated as needed.

Spiral bound products can be separated into individual materials after use, so metal and paper parts can be recycled separately. We offer plastic spirals in recyclable PP material as an alternative to PVC.

Contents can be printed on FSC-certified paper, and we work to minimise material use in the production process through efficient cutting and optimised formats.

Yes, we deliver across Denmark via reliable freight partners and also offer pickup. For larger projects we offer direct delivery and on-site installation — including outside Denmark.

What is the difference between digital print and offset print?

Digital print needs no plates and is ideal for smaller runs, personalisation and fast delivery. Offset is most economical at large runs. At XL Print we work primarily with digital print, but we can also offer offset print jobs.
